Betty J. McKinney and Barbara Hagan Rieseberg self-published the first edition of SHELTIE TALK in 1975. It became the foundation for Alpine Publications, Inc., a company which now has over one hundred dog and horse titles in print. In 1998, SHELTIE TALK was transferred to a new company, Best Friends, Ltd., specializing in books and products for Shetland Sheepdogs.  Future plans include artwork, training equipment, and various other products.  Email us with your requests and questions.
